The Jewish people and the Bible refer to what is called a Jubilee year. It is a seven year cycle with cycles which comes to 49 years, therefor a jubilee year occures once every 49 years. If you add 49 years to 1948, what you get is 1997, And if you add 49 years to 1997 you get 2046. This may be the Jubilee year that Jesus returns. I think Jesus will return on a Jubilee year. The only question is what year do you sstart counting from. I assume the year Isrial became a nation was a Jubilee year. If you could find a definate year in the Bible that was a Jubilee year you could figure out when the next one is.
